Never saw this show. Over halfway through this and it seems to have become really convoluted.
Shows like breaking bad, bcs, and the sopranos teach us how to maintain audience engagement with phenomenal and consistent writing. Not gasp shock twists.

JJ Abrams is a talentless hack and a one trick pony. The entire premise of this show is just a series of mystery boxes. And when the mystery is finally revealed, the show becomes exposed as boring and pointless.

Like a lot of people I lost interest after the second season. Years later, I binged watched it all the way through, and to me that’s the only way you can actually watch the show and really understand it. If you do it like that, it makes more sense and it’s beautiful.

It’s hard to imagine how such an insufferable tv show had so many followers. The writers need their schizophrenia meds checked.

So the island makes everyone horny? Jesus
The 1st season was fine but it went downhill when they stopped focusing on surviving but more on the hatch and the button. Then when ben and the others were introduced it got a whole lot worse.
It was also annoying how majority of the show is just the characters going back and forth with no real progression of the plot. It got boring real fast. We can only watch Jack, Kate and Sawyer going back and forth between the hatch, beach, the others’ camps before it just gets boring. Not to mention the constant back and forth of whether or not to leave the island, whether or not to go back to it etc etc etc. It made them sound like broken records.
The writing was sooo messy and confusing, especially with the moving of time back and forth. In season6 sayid felt like a whole new character too, he didnt even have his accent anymore!
Season 1 sucked ass and so I came to just know what’s going on and turns out everything sucks. It’s like you can do any crap in the name of NDE
FOR THOSE CONFUSED ABOUT THE ENDING: The electromagnetic energy light (source) IS the afterlife (flash sideways). Its collective consciousness.

The theme is about deceit, and trust, coupled with the stress of survival on an Island absent of snakes.
I was advised to take mind altering meds before watching the Lost series. 😵💫
